Wonder if anyone else remembers there's a League Cup Final on Sunday ? Only Bohemian on the mind in Rhyl and the trip to Dublin.
I should imagine that Llanelli are much more interested in the proper Cup Final a week later. Their fans are unlikely to make 2 trips in a week.
Should imagine that the people of Newtown and footballing community in general are less interested still. Two chairmen doubtless interested in the ten grand, and that's about it.

If you have to have a Pointless Cup Final, it was better back in 2002 when the 2 finalists tossed a coin to decide at whose place it was played. That way you had a fair degree of interest at least.

Better still make it an under 21 or 23 comp forcing all WPL clubs to take part

I agree Ioio, since we are future bound on playing each other 4 a season, having a league cup is kind of senseless! But making it an u21 comp is interesting!!!

It actually might make more sense when there are 2 divisions, at least then you'll get games against teams you don't play 4 times a season.

Just as long as the format rules out playing bangor 4 times in the comp as well as 4 times in the league

If it was seeded, and played on a geographical basis, it would work.
