Lol, that's right... as much as we'd want those days to return, it's unlikely to work for the whole season - you need grit like performances!!! Fair play to Newport they stuck at it even against the wind and came up trumps!

If Newport should win promotion to the Conference it'll be interesting to see how many, if any, of the southern based WPL players they might try to sign

I regularly watch Conference (sorry, Blue Square Premier) football on Setanta, and i should image that the likes of the 4 top exiles and the top 6 in the WPL would produce similar quality games. The Setanta Welsh Cup (including all 6 exiles) anyone?
